Single malt

The single malt is a whisky made exclusively of malted barley from one distillery. It’s produced by blending whisky from many different casks, all from the same distillery, and it’s the youngest whisky in the mix that gives the final age of the single malt. Usually, single malt whiskies are named with the distillery name followed by an age or millesime.
